FCE Skills Writing TB (2002 )
This book provides writing practice for students preparing for the writing paper of the FCE exam: Paper 2 (Writing). It may also be used as a general writing skills course. It aims to provide both skills development and exam training; to cover a wide range of topics and functions; to draw students' attention to the 'process' of writing through the stages of planning, writing and improving; to give interesting, motivating tasks.
This book provides grammar and usage practice for students preparing for Paper 3 of the FCE exam. It can also, however, be used as a general grammar and usage workbook for students at this level. It aims to combine both general communicative grammar work with exam training; to serve students as a valuable grammar reference resource and, through its task-based approach, to improve students' grammar learning strategies.
First Certificate Listening and Speaking is designed to bridge the gap between creative skills training and systematic preparation for Papers 4 and 5 of the First Certificate examination.
“Talking in Pairs” is intended for adult learners at pre-intermediate level who want to improve their communication skills in English. The material provides practical help and introduces conversation topics in an amusing and lively context. Exercises are based on pair work and focus on enabling the learner to speak English fluently and easily. “Talking in Pairs – Pre-intermediate” is succeeded by “Talking in Pairs – Intermediate”, which is intended for learners who want to further their knowledge.
