No dead links

Hello everyone!
It has been a long time since I wrote to you last time. I hope you enjoy summer days and doing fine.
Where are you spending your holidays? Maybe in a nice trip  or just enjoying the time with your friends, family….  My holidays are in front of my PC 25/7. I receive 1000000000000 requests about reupload needed topic.

It is hard time for keeping the site alive. You probably already know file hosters delete links and even accounts of the users. That is why it is very important to provide the alternative links, especially if there is only one working link in the post. We still have a lot of dead posts because we had only ifile links there.

Try imagine what happens if my account goes down again. I even receive angry comments like why there is no mediafire. So the links might be removed at any time. Do you realize that? I guess it is time to think about your way of using ET.

After requests  everyone gets my blue notes

Let’s keep the site alive! If there is only one link, provide a new one , please
But only a few of you provide the alternative link after downloading. You take a file and go away to come next day and leave a request again. You can see a typical view of the comments now
 No dead links

While checking the comments I return back to the posts where I expected to find not only my link
Of course there are tens people around who provide the links as well, but it is only a few comparing to the number of users with zero mirrors provided.

So from now I decided to change my checking comments policy.
You might see the new tag in the posts like
If the links are not working there contact the users мммм or aaaaaaaaa via PM, please
Leave a comment here, if the problem has been solved or not, please.

If I have already provided new links twice, no wonder if you receive a PM with a request to reupload the post you downloaded a month or 2 ago.

I am sorry to say, but the users who regularly refuse such requests might be banned. We do need active users  on ET, not just users who use other people efforts.

I believe only in this way we can keep Englishtips alive.

 Long Life ET!

Yours decabristka

PS I wrote this text some days ago. Now all my mediafire links are deleted.  That means we have to start reuploading again….

Only staff can’t do it. We need your help. If you recently downloaded something, go back and provide a working link, please.
