I have created a timeline of Englishtips' life during these 4 years: see above.
As a little gift to you, we're also rolling out 2 new features today: 'Add A Friend' functionality and an Instant Messenger (chatting to your ET friends one-to-one has just got possible!).
In the next few hours you'll be able to add people to your friends (they'll need to confirm your friend request) and see when they are online and willing to chat. Today (25 NOV) this feature will be available to all users, tomorrow we are making it karma-dependent: it'll activate after you've reached a certain level of karma. Another reason to try and grow it! :)
We'll be making a separate announcement about Friends functionality and Instant Messenger in the next couple of days.
